Letter from our Mr Barlow...
30th March 2020
Dear Year 6 Parents,
As you know there is no clear timescale to the length of time that school will be closed. Especially for our Year 6’s, this is probably a quite upsetting way to end their time at Chantlers.
I am just writing to re-assure you that as soon as we are open, even if this is after they have officially left, we will be holding their ‘Leavers Meal’ and ‘Chantlers Prize-giving Celebration’. So please let them know that they will return to Chantlers, so we can give them a proper “Goodbye” and wish them well at High School. This cohort are the first set of children who have gone through the school under my leadership. We started together in 2013 – where has that time gone?
Although they are not formally going to be doing their SAT’s, it is advisable that they do the work provided by Mr Robinson, in order to be as well prepared as possible for the transition to High School.
I hope you are coping well and all keeping safe and healthy. If you require anything, please email us on the email provided, as follows:
Many Thanks,
Mr. Phil Barlow

About the key features and planets of our solar system, including facts about environment and conditions.
